Frequently Asked Questions
Which areas is IADC developing?
University exchange and art and design education; exhibition planning and international exchange; and design competition and awards services. Research, documentation and publications support shared learning across these areas.
How can I prepare a collaboration proposal?
Introduce yourself or your organisation, explain the purpose and audience, and identify the contribution you would like to explore. Separate confirmed arrangements from suggestions and include a relevant public reference.
Are the proposed concepts open for applications?
No. The concepts on the Programmes page are starting points for development. They are not confirmed events or open calls. Any future participation route would be stated with the relevant programme’s dates, eligibility, materials, fees and selection arrangements.
What supporting material is useful?
A public website, portfolio or project reference can help explain an idea. Check that the material is accessible and that you have permission to share it. A first outline should avoid confidential material or unnecessary personal information.
Does an enquiry confirm a collaboration?
No. Any collaboration depends on further discussion and agreement on its purpose, responsibilities, resources and practical scope.
